White day letter

Inoue-san,

I hope you are having a wonderful White Day and that you, too, have received chocolates from all of your friends. Thank you for giving me chocolates, and I really wanted to repay the favor.

I wanted to say something to you as well that I've been meaning to tell you for a long time. I remember when we first met it was still when I was fixated on beating Kurosaki. I've learned now, however, that I can't beat him at most things. That guy is resilient and as much as I hate to admit it- he's an overly good guy.

So I'll just start off with my feelings and go from there. You have and always been the kindest and most caring person I have ever met. You go out of your way to help anyone and everyone, and you have always been a light that has healed our group in many ways. I learned back in Soul society just how strong you are and I have seen it time and time again. Your strength comes from your willingness to help people.

It was at that point I realized how I feel about you. It was then I knew that I loved you. It was also then, when you ran to Kurosaki's side, that I realized my feelings were meant to be kept a secret.

It was never a bad thing, really, I got to still be with you and be your friend. We still got to see each other and hang out whenever we could. I am happy, and I've always been happy. But what makes me happiest is knowing that you are doing whatever makes you the happiest as well. I am happy when you are happy. If you are happy with someone else then I will always support you and whatever you choose.

This is really hard for me, it's why I had to resort to a letter. Even now I feel like I shouldn't say anything. But it's White Day and we are here in this place so I figured why not.

Again, as long as you are happy then I am too.
